• Simple. Send us a short biography and a business proposal illustrating your idea for a millennial, discretionary spend businesses, backed by financials.
• Millennial, discretionary spend? Yes, at Delarki we are audience focused, rather than industry focused. And the audience we double down on is ‘millennials’. The type that visit Equinox, drink Aperol Spritz and wear Off-White sneakers. It might be a consumer product or a SAAS platform, but it’s got to make those millennials salivate.

And what’s on the
winners’ menu?

• If you are chosen as one of our promising entrepreneurs, you will be invited to an 8 week incubator ‘summer residency’ in London, running from June 8th to August 9th 2020.
• During that residency, you will get help developing your business plan and investor proposal.
• You will work at our Delarki Mayfair office and will receive free accommodation in an apartment in London’s renowned Notting Hill area.
• You will receive living expenses of £1000 per month.
• On managing successfully to turn your idea into an investible business plan, you will receive an EIS investment of £50,000 to go towards ramping your idea up for your seed round and building your minimum viable product.

And the icing on the cake?

Of course this isn’t just about the money. It’s about taking the next commercial step of your business career. So in addition, you will receive:

• 2 hours of discretionary scheduled time with our business development experts every week (not including scheduled classes and seminars).
• A detailed understanding of Delarki’s systemised approach to ‘concepting, developing, activating and scaling’ businesses for exit.
• Knowledge in how to reverse-engineer the acquisition process so you know who is likely to buy your business, at what point and at what multiple.
• A comprehensive understanding of what early-stage lead investors want to see, from tax incentives through to governance structure and Return on Investment.
• Opportunity of further funding, if your beta business and go-to-market plans look especially promising.

How and when can I apply?

• Email your bio and business proposal (10 ppt slides max) below no later than Sunday 8th March 2020.
• Shortlisted candidates will be announced on this website on Monday 9th March 2020.
• Candidates will then be asked for interview with the directors of Delarki at HBS, during that week.
• The winning entrepreneurs will be announced on this website on Friday 13th March 2020.
